I am Shreyas Bharule, an Architect-Urban Planner. I have a Ph.D. in Urban Engineering and am passionate about Design, Food, and Photography. Currently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Architecture and Regional Planning, IIT Kharagpur.
I am interested in almost everything about Station Area Development, Urban Infrastructure Design, Urban Analytics, and Urban and Regional Development. In the past few years of industry experience as a researcher, I have focused on ‘Governance for Land-use Transport Integration and Transit System Planning’ such as TOD & TOD Management. I have authored and co-edited books, published articles in academic journals, working paper series, and blogs. Currently, I am skilling in Urban Analytics and Data Science for Urban & Regional Planning applications.
I have started this blog to collect my thoughts, musings, and observations. Also, I will try to write answers to some of the random questions I received from my acquaintances. I believe my answers would resonate with and might help some readers.
